The Mona Lisa is very famous and known worldwide for her mysterious smile. Historians think the woman in the painting is Lisa Del Giocondo the wife of a very rich merchant. The painting celebrated its 500th aniversery in 2006. Leonardo Da Vinci completed it before he died.
